really sorry to here about your car mate

i know i might get into trouble for say what im about to say but take it as valuable information.
im not surpprised those cars got stolen because the NEC is next to the M6 and M42 so there are
4 easy ways out of the place and be away in seconds.
i can say this because im from birmingham and most areas in the surounding area are council
(make your own mind up) and have little respect for stuff.
at the back end of last year cars at donnington park were being stripped in the car park at car shows
cozzys, evo's and scoobys infront of people walking around, these people have no respect and come armed with things to
make sure they get what they want.
this happens every year with the big shows like MPH,autosport etc

As for the NEC car parks they have barriers to get out of the car park so .........................

guys if you ever come to the midlands for a indoor static show bring a older car if possible and not one
like us guys have that are very apealing.

i dont mean to affend anybody with what i have said but most big power members live over the norfolk way
and i live in birmingham so i know what goes on around here year in year out so please take this as advice.

First thing the people at tracker said was "What were the security guys like?" And to be blunt they were Crap they didn't want to know and so I got quite pissed off at them.

Really sorry for you Rob. Like you say even if insurance pays out it is a tonne of hassle.
Really sounds like an organised job and can't beleive that 'security' missed it.
I go to Autosport every year so will go in the Metro in future :roll:

As has been said something similar happened like this a few years back, but with more urm.... body modifications ( Max Power Live) again a quantity of cars were taken.
Makes you wonder just what sort of fcuking pikeys work for these supposed Mickey Mouse Security companies :x

Gutted for ya Rob,

To be honest mate, NEC has been known as a thieves paradise for years now. I havent taken a decent car up there for any shows since before the Skyline. Just a word of warning.

Oh and its not worth confronting them else you'd be in hospital and they'd have your house keys and wallet as well. This is their "job", and just like I carry a screwdriver and a drill, they come tooled up for what they do to
