I had a chuckle this morning, there was about 5 Policemen stopping people going through a puddle on Southtown road but none in attendance down Riverside Road in Gorleston.
This was the second time I drove down there water was about a foot higher the first time

Tide surge hit Wells about 2 hours after high water here. I have a feeling that if the two had coincided it may have been a different story here. The water was well over the quay and across the road and was lapping up the kerb. As far as I know there were no properties damaged here, but the Coastguard and Fire Service were out all night keeping an eye on things.
