Bye Bye Martin Jol :(

Post by rolty »

Have to say I'm gutted to see the Jol has left the club. Conflicting reports, they said last night on ITV4 that he handed in his resignation before last night's game, but on the Beeb today it says that he was sacked. What makes it even more annoying is that they sacked Chris Houghton as well, he's been at the club for the best part of 20 years in a coaching capacity, so big thanks from the club for his loyalty then

It'll be interesting to see who comes in as a permanent replacement, I really hope that Ramos doesn't after all the sneaky meetings they had which Spurs denied. Up until then we've got Clive Allen in charge, great

I thing that Jol was right for the job at Spurs but it just seems as if the board has been scared into making a decision due to our league position, so fingers crossed that who ever comes in next does something about that as I really don't want to be fighting relegation in 6 months time!

I heard some telling things from him this week , he basically was saying the team wasnt listening to him and it sounded like there was some discord in the changing rooms.

Presumably it was a tough day for him yesterday , the sacking probably benefitted him some way over the resignation

Utd all the way :P

Ramos is a top manager but after todays game he's got some work to do on the defense in a big.. Admittedly Ledley is your linchpin
