Hallo auf die Burgstube

Post by duncan »

Sitting down eating brekkie at the Burgstube after quite a late night drinking, talking shite and hoping that the weather today is going to good :D

Arrived on Saturday and managed to get 5 laps in, 2 of those were with Rachel and Annabelle in the car all perfectly dry and great to do despite lots of traffic and several sections of barrier repairs/car recovery. I even managed to better my best time to date with an 8 min 47 in what felt like quite an easy lap with lots of traffic. An 8.30 is possible I think given a good run.

Yesterday was a slight wash out with a sleet/rain/mist/drizzle filled day with track temps at about 3 C ... not ideal for grip to say the least. Still I managed 2 early laps before calling it a day and going to watch for a while, going to the museum and meeting up with Chris and Ken for lunch.

Anyway, enough of this for now .... there will be a full report soon but really enjoying it up at the Burgstube. :thumb:

Thanks for the passenger lap Chris, it was a real highlight :thumb:
