Wednesdays Meet update (Oct 10th)
It wasnt that mate, its that you are worried about cleaning your car !! But it gets dark at 6.30 so no one will appreciate it being clean !!R32 Nik wrote:Thanks for the warning George.

Thanks
Just thought I would say thank you to those that attended last night. Great to meet Dave, and really nice to catch up with a few people too!
The meeting with Phil Royle was very promising. Phil writes for several publications and is keen to get involved with the club. His RA looked superb and you can expect to see him and his car at next years circuit events.
Should have lights at the next meet whilst I think of it.
A big thanks to Nik Penn. You've done me a big favour with the wheels and I'll look after you when the favour needs returning.
Congratulations goes to Jungle Jim for having the loudest exhaust :wack: 106.9 dB although I think you were revving it a little too high.
Slarty came out squeeky clean with a very tasteful 82 or 84 :notworthy:
Mini Williams engine knocked out 114dB as a matter of interest!
A really good night, thanks guys!

Nice to know that the whisper mode exhaust will not have any problems with static noise tests on even the most strict of circuits at 90Db.
Drive by figures would be really interesting.
Perhaps we could do this at a Snetterton Track day by having a word with the marshall on the pit wall and asking for our individual readings.

It could result in several of us getting kicked off though, so maybe not. This would ultimately ask a question that isn't being asked at the moment, so I think it's best avoided. I'll get my thinking hat on and see if there is an alternative :thumb:
