personally i would rather have the police patroling our roads than the cameras, at least if you do stray slightly over the limit you can reason with a copper and maybe get away with a warning, with the cameras your done and thats it
intresting
Re: intresting
Maybe the police in Scotland will listen to reason but not in the south, they're 'mobile' speed cameras in the true sense of the word :xDunkRA wrote:http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default ... ryId=16930

Once upon a time, unless you were driving like a tit, you'd get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again. I was stopped once for doing 30 in a 30 limit, the copper said he was suspicious because I was driving so slow
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
Re: intresting
i guess it just comes down to the individual your dealing with, most of the traffic cops ive come across so far have been sound enough blokes, like you say driving like a tit should be punished, i kept a clean license for 18 years and got nabbed twice last year in the space of two months for just straying about the limit, thats my point really if i had been stopped from the police i would have probably got away with warnings, i was just over the limit (both times on a motorway) with the cameras your guilty and theres not much you can do about itGerry H wrote:
