I am pretty sure HKS have just released a new backbox for this model of Civic Type R. Could be worth a look.

That FMIC is huge !!!!!! Wouldnt it block the radiator, although you mention that you get a smaller one. Does that sit in the same place ?

What's the issue with the induction filter being there ? I'd have thought that it would have got a great source of cold air there ? Plus if you are working the engine harder then the underbonnet temps are gonna be greater so even more reason to get a cold air source.

Looks good though mate, I experienced it in its last spec and it was fast !! An extra 120bhp will be insane lol.

I see why you had a problem .. how low is your induction kit ...

Now get in there and clean the front before the bumper goes back on.... don't let ian see that .. he'd be disgusted.

It is placed in a great place to suck up cold air, water, etc!!

I do get a new half the standard size rad with it and it sits behind the intercooler. I dont think(hope) there will be any issues with cooling as there'll be plenty of air passing through the FMIC.

Just got the car back from Clive Attowes and it made 397.9bhp :D I also weighed the car at VOSA last week and it was 1072kgs that makes for a power to weight of 376.28 bhp/ton :D :D

Driving it now is still the same as it was before, the power is very linear and peak torque is at the rev limit. I can't wait for the next Snetterton trackday!

Will load some pictures up later when I've got a minute.

Oh and it goes like f**k!
