These are just a teaser as the car is minging and i need to take some proper pics.

Here you can see the quality of Simpsons work. Its stunning. The welds are perfect, the fit is perfect and the sound is bang on. Still has a smooth rumble up to about 3krpm.. afetr that its get quieter the higher you go. I wanted maximum flow and them to get the system as quiet as possible.

Static 5Krpm @ 1 meter distance we recorded 91.5dB
Drive by WOT approx 130mph we recorded 87.7dB from about 10 meters away.

These pics do it absolutely no justice at all.

Pipework is 0.6mm lightweight stainless, ID 3" dia. The only joint is connected with a V-Band clamp for seamless flow, there is a 5"x7" race silencer in the centre and a 7" dia repacakable race silencer at the rear.

The icing on the cake though is the 3.5" bent down exhaust outlet. It was a gamble but i absolutely love it it looks mental.

Looks weird mate - but it looks awesome, love it when people do something different 8)

Great results with the noise testing level, shouldn't have any problems on the strictest of tracks now :D

frayz - it does look different but the main thing is how well it flows versus the obvious lowering of decibel volume. That is the main result with a thumbs up in both cases 8)

Heya guys just thought id post a current shopping list of what i have sitting ready for the car.

Financially, this pile is growing slowly.. but it is coming along. Due to the fact i dont own a credit card, im having to save for all my parts lol.

I wont start any build untill i have all the parts to complete.

Right now it consists of,

Engine:

Brand new EJ257 block
Brand new EJ257 crank
ACL race series main/big end bearings
Wiseco forged pistons
Carrello forged conrods
ARP head studs
Cometic head gaskets
RCMS modified oil pump
Brand new OEM Subaru water pump
FP Green turbocharger (3" inlet 7cm hotside, will be 8cm though)
DEI turbo blanket
Custom SFS 3" turbo inlet hose
APS DR725 front mounted intercooler
Hyperflow top mounted oil cooler

Misc stuff:

Recaro Pro Racer carbon bucket seat
(All new) KW variant 3 coilovers
Pagid RS29 brake pads
Another set of HID's
Another front bumper lol

And so the pile continues to grow for the build
