I've been staring at screens full of theory test questions today (there are 964 in total), preparing data for a new online product. My brain hurts now ;)

And in answer to Maff's question, braking more than is needed will increase fuel consumption as one would have to accelerate more to bring themselves back up to the speed they were at before...

Cheers,
Alex

50/50 I passed my test in 1983 age 17. I have picked up the highway code a couple of times between then and now, only skimming through briefly each time :D

However....in reality i would much rather have put a load of different answers down that felt much more appropriate like....

Question: When is it unsafe to overtake a cyclist?......
My answer: When they're having a wobbly moment in front of your car, threatening to fall off their bike after just having been smacked on the back of the head by the extended door mirror on a white transit van being driven like it was stolen.

Think of the damage that might do to your car!!
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

Scraped in with a 43, not bad seeing as I've never done one before. Never heard of a puffin crossing before :?
