I got it on the ramp to see the underside of the car - looks superb!
Current progress on the engine
Stripped down to block and head, new timing cover gaskets, fresh coat of hammerite on the block - always a bit peeved that I didn't paint the block any more than the black acid edge primer when it came back from the engine shop. Trouble is, it looks cool when it's black against silver but it doesn't help when you're trying to find oil leaks.
Was toying with the idea of a red block but I think the red hoses are enough colour in the engine bay.
Just waiting to be able to affort some more gaskets from AAD - my wallet's a little dented right now... next month's purchase.

Did a bit of tidying in the engine bay today. Took the bonnet off and re-arraged all the main wiring loom, gas wiring loom, and all the other wires and cables.
Have a couple of questions which I will post elsewhere.
Also got most of the interior in too. Fitted the under-carpet padding, the carpets themselves, the rear seats and the B-pillar trims.
Tomorrows jobs:
- Fit the rest of the interior (front seats, centre console, sill trims, kick panels, door seal trims, door cards)
- Sort out what bits I need to keep from the bits returned to me - got loads of door gubbins from the 4 spare doors. Keep the good bits, throw away the sh!te
- Put a few more bits back onto the engine (sump etc)
- Take a few bits over to the powdercoaters
- Cut a hole in rear bumper for LPG filler
- Swap the bumper carrier over to the new rear bumper, and fit rear bumper.
- Measure up hole to be drilled in roof and maybe pluck up the courage to actually drill the hole... :?

Went for the aeriel hole drilling today
Measured it up, exactly on the centre line of the roof, and 125mm from the edge of the rubber strip (thanks to Ron Richmond for the measurements in a previous topic)
Took ages to measure it and measure it again to be sure
And a very worrying shot of my dad drilling a hole in my roof!
Using a stepper drill bit to get the hole right (14mm hole)
Using a sideways drill bit to open the hole out to a square
The (almost) finished hole - a bit more filing took it to the exact shape of the square.
Aeriel base in, firmly seated, nut on.
The bloody scratch that my dad made with a rat tail file when it slipped out of the hole...
End product
Took it outside for a jetwash of the engine bay and took a couple of pictures
Current progress on the engine:
Sump on, sealant included and torqued up
Altenator bracket and altenator on
Got the rear subframe/axle off too
Managed to take a couple of pics of the rear chassis rails
