Sorry to chip in but I feel I needed to on two counts:-

a) Your E36 328i is 192 bhp from the factory, so where did you get the extra 40 ish bhp? Not being snotty, just trying to keep BigPower bullshit free :thumb:

b) If you've already done the de-cat, induction and back box stuff this sort of chip will improve fueling throughout the revrange so you'll get a benefit in drivability terms and more midrange rather than more power at peak revs.

Well worth the money, just keen to try and avoid willy waving without dyno sheets :)

Does BigPower have a prefered place for dyno power runs? If so... Where? How Much? Do we get a Discount?

I've never had my Sportwagon on a rolling road. I just want to know what my own home DIY mapping has acheived with all 3 cats still in place :D
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

We do have great trading relationships with Gary who started this thread. He has his new 4 wheel drive Dyno Dynamics set up and is more than capable of providing accurate and honest (read that as stingy) dyno figures, so if your car makes 300 here it will almost certainly make more elsewhere :D That, in my book, has got to be better than going to a dyno centre and getting optimistic figures, believing the hype and getting shown up later on.

As for prices, no idea. Best to contact the man himself and see what's what :)

Thanks for the heads up on that Stuart, i'll ask the question :thumb:

In it's current state i don't think it'll make anywhere near that but it will be nice to know anyway. :D

ok here we go ,
on last dyno run car was putting out 212bhp , but has had a few tweaks since .
work done to my car is as follows ,
both cats removed, 3" scorpion ss catback system , dave f induction kit , m50 manifold conversion .
it is quite quick at the moment , but is never fast enough .
ps: i was pulling 152 on the straights at marham at the start of the month .
its no slouch
the cats were removed after the dyno run .
i will also soon be fitting a big bore throttle body and have a remap this month .
as soon as these bits are done car will go back for another dyno run and i will post it up for all to see

I know your car was quick enough Les, it's more a point aboout trying to keep the forum free of claims that cannot be backed up.

Look forward to the progress with your car and at least the Dave F induction kit explains to me why your car sounded so good under full load :thumb:

I have been considering a remap on my 54 plate Octavia vag 2.0 TDI. I was interested in the revotech module. Can you indicate what I should expect on your new system?
