Bored of waiting, so a new toy was needed ;)

Post by Hope4sun »

Though the 350 has been keeping me entertained when the sun has been out (and if any one remembers seeing it this year, be sure to let me know ;) ) and when i've been home to use it, i've gotten very bored of my dailey run around (Audi A3), so i've bought this to make my commute & rainy days a little more fun and will make for a great track car once the new beasty arrives!!

And some of you know how i like my cars to be clean, well thats one word:

It should be landed in the next few weeks, so more pics to follow ( though theres loads in the album above), its off for a full leather retrim and then a fast road setup at TGM with a few other toys i've already bought to be fitted.

I have always loved the DC5 and this example looks wonderful. You must be very excited Andy.........one of the guys on here is a Spoon expert so I hear :)

May I ask who TGM are? I've been out of the Honda 'scene' for a few years now since I sold my DC2.

I'm just hoping its as fun to drive as the one i test drove, Excited is a strong word for me (the GTR put pay to most cars getting my juices going), but i am looking foraward to it and should be a hoot in rush hour weaving in and out of traffic :)

TGM are http://www.tgmsports.co.uk , i must admit that i'm not up to speed on the Honda tuning side, owning Nissans for the last few years, but read good things and there not to far from London. Spoon expert huh, thats good to know, have some spoon goodies going on her.

DC5s look great !!

Some good tuning being done also on them.

Wheels need changing in my opinion though.

Thanks guys, glad you like her, I'm having the interior replaced with a standard black interior on arrival (the red carpets are not going to match retrim), funny enough the wheels will be the next thing after the fast road setup (new suspension, strut bars, camber arms, etc), can't decide on White TE37's or Bronze, but i think the bronze will be the option, that or a set of bronze Works Emotions?

I may keep it when the new car arrives, depends on circumstances really, may have to buy another house next year down this way, and what with the house in Norwich and Flat down here (me thinks something will have to give or at least be rented), i may have to wait longer for the new toy too as i want a manual one and they are not coming out for a while :(
