Looks like it was a great day - well done to those that took part 8)

Next Year ....

TA is still number 1 slot for me (although regs, events, costs may change that) but I do fancy getting out on some of these - they look great. :thumb:

Great to meet the rest of the BP crowd, and once again congrats to the BP sprint team for their growing pot collection :)

Many thanks for the write up Stuart, glad all those who came down enjoyed themselves; look forward to catching up with you all in 2008!

Dunc - there may not be much in the way of clash with TA. Don't forget you could fund about 5 years sprinting with a season of TA money :)

but track time is way more on TA .... so not a good comparison on cost fronts

Dunc,

I think Andy's point was more: once you've spent all that money modding your car and doing TA, doing a few rounds of the JISC is a relatively small incremental cost.

Also, I wouldn't underestimate the value of competitive track time. Competing against the likes of Mike Blackmore would be good experience and hone your skills for the TA rounds. I note some of our sprint regulars did a couple of rounds of Time Attack in 2006 and were very competitive (Duncan Cowper, Steve Scott, Darren Bly)
