Small update..
Changing the air filters from k and n filters to literally just a bit of gauze over the air horns.
Reason... To cut along story short, when your out of the rev range for the cam the car backfires and spits fuel back out of the carbs into the airfilters.
This saturates the air filters with fuel, then (as i found out) if you really give it some hard and when backing off shifting down the gears it can ignite the air filters
Luckily i had a fire extinguisher and the only damage was melted air filters.
