Gerry, the course is the layout as described in the finals. It is not the same course as at the Borough 19 MC event.

The choice isn't mine, it is the Clerk of the Course who decides, so I'm quite happy for you to blame him

I would recommend walking the course in any event, because even if we ran the same course as Borough 19, the cones are different, the exact location will be slightly different, which is probably something you don't want to find out on your first practice run!

Oooh.. just remembered.... the Clerk of the Course (Peter Cox) has insisted he wants to do convoy runs, so walking the course may not be essential!

Thanks Spence. [sheepishly humble] Sorry Andy

Convoy run should be fun and interesting after the first hairpin :o

Yes, I think short convoy runs of five or so cars might be necessary... mind you, Peter managed convoy runs on the old circuit with the roundabout once! You just have to take a wide line, stop and queue everyone up while the stragglers catch up...

There are rumours afoot that the old start line might be opened back up for some events next year, depending on negotiations with the airfield and the market. Have to wait and see though.

Your best bet is to email or PM Spence (Sprint King) as he was hugely helpful with me going along :D
