G,

Yes that's a nice engine, but it's not just a good turbo that's needed is it? To do it justice the total bill for suitable ancillaries (oil, water & intake cooling, fuelling etc) wouldn't be small I reckon. Plus a full bridgeport probably isn't the best for a general use car even though they sound great!

Yes I'd like a small/mid size single (I was only mentioning the T88 for illustrative purposes ;) ) but it's still a chunk more cash than the bill I'm currently facing...

Maybe I can do one of those online charity campaigns like that bird who was trying to raise the cash for her boob job? ;)

Haha I love my missus :)

I told her about the potential issues of fitting a 2nd hand twin turbo pack and she said it was a stupid idea and I shouldn't even be thinking about it.

So now the search is on to find a suitable turbo, currently thinking about a GReddy TD06 complete kit to minimise hassle.

Hope the Rotechnics SMIC is going to be ok...

Bugger. Better factor in a clutch too

Cheers,
Alex

Haha now THAT wouldn't go down too well ;) Getting married in the Grenadines & St Vincent Islands, if I told her that was off I'd be in big trouble!

On track or the road mate? ;)

Seriously, you've just got to demonstrate that you can still contribute to the shared responsibilities (house, wedding, bills) while spending money on your real love ;) Mind you I bought a house once with a girl who didn't like me spending my hard-earned money on stuff - it's an important issue to sort out mate!

Very true mate, once we get a house she'll be fine.

Now onto turbos....what about a GT35R ? If you are going for a bigger single you probably need the engine ported.

It is - I'm also very lucky ... Jo doesn really care what I spend my money on in the same way I don't care what she buys, as long as we both stick our fair share into the house account ... the rest is for fun.
