Out of interest, do you think there is a correlation between your enjoyment of the car now and the extra money invested in it?
Yes in 2 ways mate.
1) I enjoy the car more because its much better to drive, more go, more handling, better braking.. better everything really mate.
2) Its a weird thing to say but i enjoy spending money on it to make it what i want.
Someone said to me the other day that with the money id spent i could of bought a Porsche etc. However my reply was pretty simple. Im that way inclined that if i was lucky enough to be able to afford a Porsche or whatever id still want to tune it/modify it anyway. So i might aswell stick with what i have as it will eventually be a Porsche baiter.
Although i know which one id rather drive.. and it wouldnt be japanese lol.

I don't think it's weird at all Frayz. These cars are far more than a means of A to B and therefore the spending is all part of the fun, a continuation of the enjoyment taking it further than just a way of travelling.
I have heard the comment many times about 'You've spent so much etc etc' but my answer is simple. I do not have the money in one hit to buy a
This reminds me of when i gave up smoking. You know how much you spend on fags but once you give up, you dont see the financial benefits. You need someone tapping on your shoulder every other day asking for the fiver and then giving it all back to you after 3 years. The trouble with our theory about spending little bits on our cars is when it comes to the chavs. I look at their paxo's all 'modded' up and thinking "why?" just save your money and get something better. Maybe we shouldn't be so hard the bubury boys? hey stu? Lol.
