Cue logan in self-convince mode lol.
Actually, it might be a cunning way to stop yourself getting weekly map tweaks I guess.

I had EBC discs & red stuff on my classic, first thing I did when I got it. Pads didn't survive my first track day, at Bedford, very well and the grooves & spots filled up with pad material, on the inside, that needed chiselling out :x
I imagine you would have a few moments, in a newage.

Gerry.... Same as that!!!
One of the very first things i did with mine was the brakes all round. Currently i've got a new set of front YellowStuff Pads waiting to go on and a spare set of EBC front Dimpled/grooved discs i'm saving for a track day. I did Bedford shortly after buying mine when the brakes were still standard and it was an intersting experience to say the least. You know.... it's those moments when the brakes don't do what they are suppose to do that i find very 'character building'.
Never mind if you aren't quite as quick as everyone else....the thing is..... how much speed can you carry into a corner and can you out brake them

Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

During that first track day, and a few after, I was shocked at how fast some of the Imprezas were and how well they handled. My STi was a slow tub of lard by comparison.
After spending a small fortune, it can sort of hold it's own.

I think these JDM Impreza STi wagons look good value. All the nice STi bits (suspension, DCCD, quickrack and quickshift) with wagon practicality. Then mod the engine up to whatever you can squeeze out of it with standard internals, Maybe 400 - 500bhp?? Completely de-badge it and see what happens
Do they come with Brembo's and all that. I imagine it would be the same as a JDM Sti 4dr only with a wagon butt!! I think Litchfield do the STi Wagon, not cheap from there though.
