The Nur spec engine has forged internals and a hardened block as standard as it is the engine which the N1 race cars used.
Plus for a bit of a pub car park bonus you get gold engine covers! 8)

no we are only going to take my old one out, then take the shell and new engine to RK probably.

i have no idea, i dont even know what the damage is, might not even be that bad, i turned it off nearly immidiatly after the pump went.

ill be taking most of the ancilleries off for the nur spec but the block itself will go up for sale after checking the damage.

well i have hit the first minor problem, i found out (had it in the back of my mind all the time) that the r34 engine does not mate up with my gearbox becuase it uses a GETRAG 6 speed, i can bolt my original front diff to the nur but i dont want to do that so im looking for other options at the moment.

well today was the day, after having 3 days off work waiting waiting for it to turn up, my brand new Nur-spec finally arrived and the next chapter of my GTR has started. its still going to be a while before the engine goes in as im going to buy alot of parts for it first.

but here it is in all its glory!!
