Hi to everybody, If you have a Pulsar you will probably already know me because I'm one of the gtiroc moderators, If not Hi  .

I currently live up in Aberdeenshire but am planning on moving back to Hampshire next year sometime hopefully.

Well I'm not very interesting I'm afraid, I used to be a mobile crane driver for Baldwins heavy crane division and a few other company's over the years, Then moved on to driving HGV's for M&S for 6 years or so, I'm now a full time house b1tch lol, My wife is Finance Director in Aberdeen so I'm a kept man these days.

My interests are just the normal petrol heads fair, Track days/drag racing/sprints, Once I'm back up and running I'd like to do a lot more with the car though but will probably have to wait until we're back down south, As everything is just so bl00dy far away up here.

Well it's been off the road for about 9 months now, I had an 8 month wait for the engine to be rebuilt due to me having some stuff going into the engine that they had never seen lol, So it took longer than expected to get everything fitted and working right, I currently waiting on a PWR charge cooler kit to arrive from state side, Which will be a Pulsar first in the UK I think.

Spec wise I'm hoping for around 500-575bhp with my new spec, But I'll do a proper post later in the members car section.

Hi, I used to do a lot of drag racing before we moved up here 4 years ago, My best time with my old 311 bhp spec was 12.3 seconds with a 1.6 second 60ft time, I've done quite a few track days over the years in different car I've owned, But not as many as I'd of liked with the pulsar, It's always been in a state of flux if you know what I mean  :D .

I'd also like to do some sprints with it, But I'm not sure how suited the new spec with bigger turbo will be.

Well if you call a 320 mile round trip close then yes      .

I did a track day last year at knock Hill with my last set up which was 399.7bhp on the standard engine but with a very laggy JGYBB37R turbo, And it wasn't very suited to knock hills very tight twisty track, To be honest I prefer bigger tracks with long straights and a bit more thinking time lol.

Knock hill is very manic.

Oh and I made the mistake of going on track with the hot hatches :o   , I wont be doing that again  , They're nutters  .

320 miles ...

Worth every one of them IMO - Mike Payne and I did KH in July and loved it. Such a fierce little track.

Snetterton is probably more up your street - we tend to treat it as our home circuit as it is local to a lot of us and have track days there every few months.

Don't get me wrong I loved the time on track at knock Hill but that's all their is in Scotland  , And I'd get bored to tears if that's all I had to look forward to, And from here to go down south to any of the good tracks is at least
