Help needed with video footage

Post by pablo »

Can anyone help with putting up full length video footage from our trip to the ring. I have 2 video clips of myself and Alan driving the ring in the wet, but i can only upload 5 min segments.
I will be at the drift night this wednesday if anyone is able to help.

Thanks. Paul.

Yes mate ... what's the problem with the joining ...

I simply string together seperate video footage using moviemaker .. you import the seperate segments into seperate projects - as each project is uploaded it will create the seperate segments and then you can drop and drag them into a single project.

does this make sense?.

Yes that makes sense but i can only upload 5 mins to photobucket and the clips from the ring are about 14mins long. So how do i get these up on here without splitting them.

Hey pablo, if you want any editing done I have adobe premiere so can do wonders with video. As for uploading you can use a place called putfile.com also there are other ones out there. Just google search File Hosting.

Ahh so it's not the video editing that is the problem - it's the uploading of the vid to the free sharing sites ? .....

Best thing is to FTP it to an address i.e. your service provider will provide you with webspace ... download a copy of cuteftp and set up the access.

do as russ says.

i have uploaded video's up to 350 mb so far to google video.

anything over 100 mb needs a piece of free software provided by google as russ discovered.

you can load up to 500mb on google.

the go karting video i did was huge too and was uploaded without registration on http://www.streetfire.net they take up to 500 mb too ;)
