Woodbridge done us proud but the shed is dead...RIP

Well we had our annual challenge weekend and what a weekend it was.

I spent over 60 miles on track and the ole girl did me proud, only a broken front ARB support but looking at the picks she seemed to be cocking a leg on some corners so not suprised.

Mr Caca didnt have such a good time though as The good ole shed took a bad roll and it was game over...at least Andy came out unscathed which is a credit to his roll cage and other safety devices.

Hi Duncan,

Im suprised he hasnt been on here yet to be honest as he knows better than anyone what happened exactly.

This is how I was told it happened.

We had a nice sharp right hand corner that you could drift into the next corner with ease but Andy seemed to loose the back end then caught the grass edge side on, ripping the tyres off the rims and rolling him onto the concrete the other side of a grass strip, he came to rest the right way up and suffered not much more than a bruised ego fortunatly.

The car was left on the circuit over night and Andy returned with some new wheels and tyres the following day and DROVE the 165 back to the paddock.......Mr Caca never fails to amaze me ....respect to him.

sounds like you all had a good weekend,
you can see my mates white gt4 in the 3rd pic, think he said that he managed a 13dead on the 1/4mile while his mate with the black stripped out gt4 hit a high 11, but that ones running well into the 500's!

sorry to hear of your misfortune , just to let you know i was offered an st185 about a month ago which had the engine removed because of a nasty rattle , i don't know what your plans are but i thought it best to mention it just in case ,

I had a great time on Sunday. It was a shame that I could not make the saturday track action tho due to holiday. The strip was wet and the water just seem to sit around when it did stop raining for a while. And yes the launch was very slippy indeed.

Andy already has a new 165 shell sourced, which is good news. It will not take him long to transfer the bits and no doubt make it better too
