Don't understand what the flaming was about, Maybe those RS4 are a little aggressive? They certainly do work well and have cleaned the discs nicely.

AP bolt problem was me being a plonker. I'll post when the problems are fully sorted, hopefully with pics this time.

Never seen anything like it before. Rich spotted it first at the heavy brake for turn 1, so we all watched for it after that and all independently verified it. Didnt slow you down though so not a real problem I guess. As you going to a new setup unlikely to ever see it again.

Brakes were performing very well, so don't know what it was. High metallic content in pad material perhapd?

They certainly were working going by your smoking laptimes. Whoever gets these after the AP upgrade is in for a treat if they are coming off stock brakes.

I quite like my DS2500s in my old godspeeds. Work from cold, dont fade etc.

I've got some new Mintex 6 pot pads if you want to swap them for your RS4 if they will fit the sub 4 pot caliper. Wonder if I'd have flamy brakes then? :)

Won't fit 4 pots, they're for Brembos.

I'm only going by what Frayz said about the 2500s when he got fade on them. Still it is a lardy newage. But don't tell him I said that :o
