It's all down to price. With the exchange rate as it is, the price wasn't too bad. When the APs came up, that was it. Couldn't not do it.

If you definitely want them, I'll keep them for you. How long before you'll know?

I've been looking at brake set ups for ages. The Wilwod 6 pots were top of the list. There's some K Sport 8 pots available and some 10 pot Italian jobbies, which I almost had if the bloke had been available.

Spoke with Adge at Adgespeed, where I bought the slicks and then some pads. He said not to get alloy calipers as the salt destroys them after 2 years. His recommendation was APs is the only way to go or stick with the Brembos. As he regularly rallies and runs the business to finance it, I guessed he knew what he was talking about and just about confirmed what everyone says.

So, when these came up, I dug deep  and here they are :D

Argggghhhhhhhh Tried fitting them on Friday and the bolts won't go through the holes in the hub. It was too late for anything but a straightforward swap so re-fitted the Brembos for Saturday's Silverstone sprint.

I'll have a closer look and see what the problem is. Bugger :x

The flames emanating from the Brembos were quite spectacular however. Unusual for a car to come with its own fireworks display :)
