I hosted the photos on Photobucket to try and avoid loading up your servers, sorry if it causes problems for you :( It wasnt intentional.

Duncan, there should not be a page 2, i`m just planning on tweaks from now on, dont want to have to do anything major like this again :o

Nige - I meant page 2 on the thread (ie where we are now)

Bladey is only joking - the server is doing fine and dandy with it :thumb:

Small update from my recent ring trip....

The car was running well, I was giving a friend a passenger lap, was braking for a long right hand section when the rear went very loose and moved all over the place [:o] Was a scary moment, looked in the mirror and saw clouds of smoke ! I pulled over and looked and thought the rear brake had locked on or something, but it seemed OK. A quick look and I realised the rear O/S wheel bearing had collapsed ! It was fine on the previous corners, no rumbling at all, just a sudden failure. I`m still at a loss as to why.

Anyway, drove off carefully and parked up in a carpark.

Ordered a new Stub Axle and wheel bearing from a local motor factors. I removed the bearing cover and found the bearing had fallen apart and the only thing holding the wheel onto the car was a split pin !!!!! As I was unable to move it in this state, I had to repair it in Lidl carpark
