Would anyone be interested in......

Post by Rob_B »

Hello guys, i'm just trying to gauge interest in a drift area for you guys to practice in etc...

I have a friend who has an area of land near ludham in norfolk and after observing the drift arena at USC last weekend he is considering laying an area of tarmac for people to use for a drift area...he asked me to see if any of you drifters would be interested in having a perminant area to use?

let me know your thoughts.

regards
rob

yep

I am already in discussions with two local airfields about the same subject but more choice can only be good. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh, one thing Rob. Make sure your friend checks with his neighbours about noise. I know this can be a large factor in whether something becomes permanent or not. His neighbours may be miles away but sound travels a long way when there's nothing to stop it.

If he has already done this, then magic, I'm sure the club would be very interested in talking to him when it's built :thumb:

Cheers stuart, this is something i will have a chat with him about...the land he owns are a about 3/4 fields..and if any of you know Ludham its right out in the countryside..so hopefully noise wont be an issue.

i will check things out though :wink:

also it should be quite close to a motocross/quad track that his mate owns so if anyone has a scrambler or quad bike they could get to use both :-D :-D
