Window tints

Post by Jaffaz32 »

What is the law on these?

can i get the front sides done slightly?

i don't want to get all the rears done without the fronts as i think it doesn't look right.

Also where can i take it for the best job?

How much did you pay Dean as I could be tempted to have my rear window done.

My side and rear tints are pretty heavy so I think you can go pretty dark.

I don't think its a case of not geting any trouble form the police as much as not passing an officer who wants to go through all the rigmoral (if thats how you spell it!)

I had a limo tint all the way round on one of my old cars and never got pulled though I know of other that have been pulled with a light smoke and the policeman has used a light gun thing to test the level of light penetrating the film, if its too low you get a fine and have to prove you've removed them by attending a local station.

In fairness though I think they push this legality more onto the 'chav' world as apposed to the moddified world. Regardless though I'm having mine tinted for both looks and simply security.
