Haven't got the circuit driver guide, most try to get one.

Bart thinks the playstation is the track guide in a 800bhp Zonda :o . He scares me.

I found GT4 very useful for getting to know the sequence of corners, but when you get on the track, it looks so different and you can quite easily get lost or confused about where you are. The first lap/s seem to go on for ever compared to GT4. This happened to me at Wipperman after the Karussel and was very scarey :o

Dont take GT4 lines in real life though ... it is very bumpy cutting across Adenau Forst

The difference between driving the track in a 'normal' car and one of Gran Turismos hairy arsed sports cars is really disorientating. The flow between corners, linking them together, becomes so much harder when the speed is halved and the threat of financial penalties is so much more damaging.

Never seems so scary when it's only pixels :D

Have a great time and if you think of anything you need/want to ask, just give one of us a call :thumb:

May have been mentioned before but go very careful with video equipment. The staff in the car park are actively looking for people that use video/photographic gear and can kick you off if you're caught. Stealth is the word mate :thumb:

Blown turbo

Post by pablo »

After blowing the turbo on our car whilst at the nurburgring we needed to get it sorted quickly before ford fair this sunday at silverstone. The day after returning we took a trip to see Fitz at TopBoss.

It turns out that we hadn't blown the turbo we had melted the impellars and dropped the shaft :o We believe the damage had been caused when we had all our overheating problems.

Nurburging day 4

Post by pablo »

As stated above we blew our turbo at the ring. Whilst Bart strugled with a dying car to make it to the ferry i had some time to think up plan A & plan B to get it sorted, as we only a week before we were out at Silverstone for Ford Fair.
Here are a couple of pics from the end of our ring trip. A full report and all pics can be found on this link.
