I noticed when looking around bigpower there are a lot of people from Norfolk. I thought Norfolk was such a sleepy county and as it turns out it has it's fair share of fire breathing Jap dragons!!
Is there anyone on BP from Northants or nearby??
Any BIGPOWER people from Northants????

A fair few of our founding members are based in East Anglia but we're growing week by week with members as far afield as Scotland, Cornwall and even Germany!
I have a feeling we have a few located near your neck of the woods, so you guys will have no excuse for not turning up the next time we're at Silverstone or Santa Pod

Bedfordshire is sort of East Anglia region and next door to Northants. so we're neighbours
Anyway, if I can get to the Snetterton meets, you have no excuse
BTW, Jeremy Clarkson made a comment about Norfolk, some while ago. Something about while Norfolk seems a sleepy rural place, you can be quietly driving along and suddenly, appears some monster, fire breathing car out of nowhere
Wonder whose he was referring to.

Hi Gerry, Nice to meet you.
Yes beds is pretty close, i used to live in Luton for a very long time so i know it well. I look forward to making it to Snetterton some time soon too. I just have to pick my moment when it's not too busy here so i can take the time out. I also look forward to hitting Silverstone or Bedford Autodrome sometime when BP sessions there.
One of these days i'll get to one of your evening socials so i can meet the BP crew!!
Cheers :thumb:

Hi Francis,
I too lived in Luton for quite a few years but hate the place now
I'm doing Silverstone at the end of the month with the MLR. I do like it there especially the GP circuit and it's so close to home
Doubt we'll ever see a BP day at Bedford because of the ridiculous noise limits and I think they've dropped the limit even more, recently. That's a real shame as I have really enjoyed the few times I've been there.
Still, with the RAF airfield days, that pop up from time to time, there's plenty of alternatives, just further afield.
Have you noticed the day at RAF Marham that's in the track day section. That's a good day out for

I know what you mean about Bedford but it is such a good track and you can go hell for leather without much risk of damaging your car if you get it wrong.
Silverstone is a stones throw for me relatively speaking, about 20-30mins away as the very fast crow flies so that is a most likely venue even if to just go and watch if not taking part.
BTW....how far in terms of travel time is Snetterton from you? I've never been there so it would be useful to have an idea as that seems to be a regular venue for the BP crew.
