Eurodrift Round 6 @ Norfolk Arena, Kings Lynn. Sat 11th !

Post by Sweeps »

I'm guessing by having a look round the site at the drifting sections that there is a few of you into this skidding lark :-D A bit like myself

So, on Sat August 11th at Nofolk Arena Kings Lynn, round 6 of the Eurodrift championship will take place.

If you have a rear wheel drive car and can drift there is nothing to stop you competing at this event, if you can prove you can drift consistently, your in! If you have a cage fitted and your consistent you maybe put in the Pro class and be able to twin drift !

If you don't fancy competing then why not come along for a look anyway, its a great day out and the arena is a cracking place to get up close and personal with the drivers and cars.

There'll be some bloke called Mark Buckle (me) doing the commentry (but don't let that put you off).

The main action starts from mid afternoon onwards so plenty of time to get there if your working sat morning.

Just thought i'd mention it :-D

Hi Mark

Congrats on your EDC result. Is it just pro that requires a cage?

Cheers

Andy

Cheers Andy, yeah, just the pro's, its only because they twin drift, the junior/am class run on their own so cage isn't required 8)

Cool. Is Am the entry formula for the UK? How do I get licensed?

It is yes, just pay your money, turn up on the day, go out during practice and if your consistent you'll be given your licence there and then, Clive (aka drift monkey) is competing at this event 8)

I think you might be in the Pro's James... You coming along too?
