Sorry for the delay in posting my report from our trip to the ring. We did not get in until 12.30 last night and have spent today at the TopBoss Performanxe tuning sorting out what we thought was an induction problem with the car that appeared whist at the ring. We drove back to the ferry but once on home soil decided get the RAC to recover the car home.

The problem was a lot worst than we first thought :( . We had infact blown the turbo wilst out on the ring :o

Alan has spent most of today working with one of the lads at TopBoss to sort it out. How do you get the back half of a 1980's turbo to marry up to a new turbo. I have no idea but they did it :-D .

We are now running a hybrid turbo, instead of the usual T3/T4 hybrid we are running T4/T04. This means that it will spool up a lot quicker and should also give us improved bhp and torque.....

The reason for the rush to get it done is that we are out at Silverstone this sunday.

Here are few pics more to follow.

Some fantastic pictures there and seeing the rain all over the track, well, that would have sent me running for the cafe  Sod that!

It sounds like the guys at Topboss have done you proud and Bart and his never say die attitude comes up trumps again :o

Best of luck at Silverstone. It will be nice to hear how your new turbo does the job.

This is the link to our website where you will the report from day 1 of our trip to the ring.
It was wet, greasy and very slippery and almost every session there was a car in the armco. We even had wheel spin in thrid gear whilst going in a straight line :o
The car felt well at home on the ring and if anything I am glad that we did go out in the greasy conditions. A quieter track and slighty lower speeds, a bit of under steer. a bit of over steer, twitching under braking and the ABS even cut in once but only once. Not the quickest way around the track but it's nice to have a car under you that inspires you to push and constantly tells you whats it's doing and how much grip there is.

Altigether a fantastic trip and our next visit to the ring will be with BigPower.

Please check out our website and read the report as seen from Bart's point of view.
