You dont need HUGE amount of power (although it helps). I managed to pip dynamix to 13th place by .3 of a sec with my 250bhp.

It was great fun in the wet. Glad we got to run as I didnt have any experience of the track before the event I was no where in dry. That and the wet give the higher powered cars less of an advantage :)

I think my main plan for next year is the AEMC Sprint championship, which doesn't really require much more spec for the car, going to try and get some coilovers in the winter, and maybe a slight turbo upgrade dependant on time/funds etc.
So in other words, you'll be chucking some cash at it

You did flipping well then !!! I was 5th out and it was slippery as hell but could have gone faster for sure if I was more committed to it. The second lap was quicker until going round carlube when I ventured onto the exit kerbs and span both wheels and couldnt get the power down.

Power is unconfirmed but around 360bhp.

Greater power to weight needed for next time aswell as bigger balls :D

Just save your tuning cash, save you bollock growing excercises and get some more seat time. A few trackdays there will be worth far more than another 50bhp and probably cheaper too.....

and my little off I had at the end of the first practice session.

Hit the left tyre bundle and bend the wing and steering arm! With some help from some friends, a lump hammer and a jack handle I was back on the track again for the next session :D

Entries arent open for next year for ages yet so plenty of time for the rest of you to decide whether you can/want to run in it. From the interest so far it will be a full entry very early !

Great Vid, thanks for sharing really shows how small, narrow and undulating parts of knockhill are. I always went off on that corner when playing on a video game, looks alot worse in real life. :-D

Great Job Dunc and was great following the action from your reports. Looks like your hooked fella and 2008 is looking like it might be an expensive year for you :)

Hopefully you'll be competing a "little" nearer home and I can come and watch!

Cheers

Maxx
