Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship

Post by Ben »

Well, thought it time to have a go at a Stuartesque write up, can't say it will be as good, but I'll know someone will be getting a kicking later .. namely me :) .... so where to start.

07:13 ... beep, beep, beep, alarm sounding, open my eyes stagger out of bed, being the organised so and so that I am, most of my clothes were organised ready on the hallway floor .. grab my stuff, miss breakfast as come on, face it, there will be burgers and bacon and tea and coffee available, and as i'm freeloading .. they'll be free .. yep free, not

Part 2 ... just for laughs ...

There was a rumour that some spanner was trying to sneak into the RAC area .... I caught a close up of the perpetrator .... no more than one mr Staples I tell you ...

At the same point I spotted Ian keeping the undesirables away from team Persil ..

Very good Ben.

A good write up, liberally doused with humour and copious amounts of blagging stuff that someone else had to pay for ;)

I would agree that the Heritage racing at the end of the day was by far the highlight. There were a few of us mulling over the costs of being involved with that sort of thing...........probably cheaper than several less entertaining forms of motorsport, that's for sure.

The heritage racer's are something else ... there was a Tiger Sunbeam .. it was a FLYING machine ... pics to follow .. I promise.

But the sound of the camero down changing in the esses .... CAR SEX .. it was amazing to hear, to see and watching the driver trying to apply the power ....

Image

This car was a bit nippy too .... lots of snaking as the power was applied ..
