stu after reading all that you have put and following your car at donington i think there is a few things you have to take
into consideration.
1. you have changed the seat in your car which has made it higher-body is higher in the car.
2. as ur higher in the car ur body transfer is greater causing you to move side to side more.
3. as you have no wieght in the back are the back tyres getting warm enuf.
4. as you have all the wieght at the front of the car there is really nothing holding the back the car
to the road,as per with our car a rear wing was added and this improved it greatly.
5. you also have a roll cage in the car which has stiffened up the chassis.
6. youu have only used the sierra recently and you are used to the set up of your skyline.
7. you'll never get a old car to handle like cars of today as they use electronics to aide handerling
8. the advances in suspension over 20 years when our cars were made are emense
9. remember it's a 25 year old design
having watched the footage from donny and what you have said in my personal view you need
some down force on the back of the car as you get so much grip from the front the back end carnt
handle the demand that you are asking from the car. what i mean is the front is heavy and grips BUT
the back is so light that it just trows the back end out.
with this modification your corner speeds can be greater as i found at donnington.
