As a non smoker it hasn't bothered me. My mates who smoke are maintaining that it's not affecting them, in fact I quite like going outside with them to watch the tide come in at this time of year.

Come November when there's wind blowing straight off the sea and it's lashing down with rain I think I'll stay in the pub, and see if they're still going to tell me it's not affecting them :D

I plead the fifth, I am a smoker. I actually enjoy going to pubs and restaurants now more that they are smoke free! I might smoke but I don't like smelling like an ashtray. May help me quit as well :-D

I'm ok with it as I quit 7 weeks ago :D The government knew what they were doing starting the ban in July. It is not bothering people that much while the weather is mild but wait until the winter thats when it will hurt. Most folk will be used to it by then though.

Have smoked for years and have no intention of packing up - reckon it saves me from having a heart attack from stress. I just don't like being told what I can and can't do, it's the big brother thing that pis*es me off :x They should have left it up to the proprietors to decide whether they wanted a smoking or non smoking premises but stopped them being able to have both in the same building

I gave up 15 weeks ago so it doesn't bother me really. my wife still smokes though and she says it doesn't really bother her as she smokes outside at home anyway. :D

I smoke but dont mind the smoking ban - would have preferred if it was at the decision of the landlord though, but then i dont get out much.

I also smoke outside the back door so it is strange to be inside smoking anyway :)

Daft waste of money and if I was stronger willed I would give up (again).

The only thing I cant resist is temptation :D
