fitting defi oil temp sender into classic impreza.

i would like to put the sensor above cylender 3.

where would the cheapest place to get the adapter from?

Don't think the Defi fitting is 1/8 NPT, more a metric thread. If you contact that outfit in Bedford, they'll know. I've found them very helpful, and cheap.

would that give you a true reading of oil temperature? I would have thought that the readings from there would be artificially high :?

would that give you a true reading of oil temperature? I would have thought that the readings from there would be artificially high :?

There isn't one. Oil pressure is just behind the alternator.

Could save money by just fitting an oil cooler. You'll need one sooner or later anyway. :-D

Ah, you spotted my trick question ? :lol:

My temp sensor is at the back of the block near where the PCV was but I guess the easiest option would be a sandwich plate with a temp/pressure take off point wouldnt it?
