Phils done his magic, rolled all four while I 'modified' the liners and they fit, no cracked paint, had the arches rolled and pulled to give an extra 20mm. Archenemy come highly recommended.

Just taken it out for a blast and while the RE070s feel nice, they aren't a quantum leap on from the Goodyears in terms of outright grip. Not sure they will give me a second a lap, but have to see I guess. Shakedown this Sunday at Barkston.

They were quite warm to the touch when we stopped. The tyres wont get much heat into them when sprinting, but they felt pretty good from cold.

Like a bit more time on them to get a valid comparison, but not sure they were quite the leap I was expecting. Some track laps to get them hot might tell a different story as you say Dunc.

Should add that they are nicely progressive. Car handling very nicely and didnt have to change any suspension settings at all.

Thanks for the feedback on archenemy Andy, sounds like that may be an option if the arch roller I had planned doesn't come off.

As for the Re070's, that's quite interesting. Dunk has always had an almost unhealthy opinion of how good they are. Without wishing to drag the topic off thread, would you mind adding your thoughts to a thread I'm going to start in a minute on tyres?

I'm going down to London on them tomorrow and then will have a sprint on them Sunday, so I'll let you know how they feel after that. As they are 1a listed and Dunc has had them on his for 15k miles, they can't be trackday sticky as they would be dead way before that.

They may represent a good combination of longevity and grip though.

Sounds interesting, got any close up pix especially of the rear arches after they were rolled and pulled as im thinking of haveing this done for clearance issues too. Incidently how much did this cost and did he come to you?
Thx in advance............
