Transmission losses for a scoob?

Post by mike-payne »

Can anyone tell me what figure you would use as a calculation for flywheel horse power....
I know it won't be accurate, but it would be a way of telling how may car compares against others....
If it makes a difference, i'm running an STI V7 6 speed box and diff...

my figure would be at the hubs!

Sounds pretty good, but numbers aside...

How does it feel for you as a driver?

Thats good,

On the road, my 303bhp ATW equated to 351bhp using 16% and 377bhp using 25%.

So yours producing some 15bhp more should be well up there.

In a little light classic.. thats pretty damm good in my book :D

Mike's figures are hubs fugs so wont have tyre losses in there so I would expect that the 18% would be less.
