I was looking at Perrin Rail kits the other day - they look a great solution.

Well matey due to a change of job and a switch to monthly pay its been put back to about 3-4 weeks from today, iv got to contact zak at mocom asap to speak about a few things as getting my fuel set up bits from him, hopefully will be able to get them weekend after next, then derek aka diggler is coming to help me check everything over time her up and fire her up, i will video the first start and post it lol.

The projest wont be totally finished for at least another year as want to go for the twisted garret gt35/40r, maybe 850cc injectors, some wild cams, veriner pullys, twin pump swirl pot fuel set up, motec or autronics ecu, ppg dog box or similar uprated diffs shafts etc, im going all out lol.

did you consider MichaelH's GT35 ?

Re the injectors - it may be better to get some Modified injectors - these will flow equivalent to 800 (this is what I am getting) but without the lag in opening times that can make it very difficult to map for and/or an uneven idle.

Presumeably you will get it to a stage where it is running and useable and then add these bits in when funds/time becomes available?

Yes mate, just this minute finished speking to zac about the modded injectors, im going to go for the 440`s at present then get them modded when can afford the turbo/ecu upgrade. I did think about Michaels turbo but as its an fe would need a few more mods to get it to fit, manifols spacers, rerouted fimc pipework etc and at the minute money, or lack of, is the deciding factor lol, going a month without pay knocks you back so much its unbealivable.

Will have a few month`s of hard saving after the cars back on the road then upgrade.

Awesome project you've got going on here mate. Reading this has brought back lots of fond memories of my old STI Version 1.
Can't wait to see the fully finished article.

Here's a picture of my old beast, number 79 of THE first 100, miss her dearly :-D

I presume the CDB is with him now?

Looking good for some serious power from that now - when is the mapping and who is doing it?
