They make them about 3 miles from my house :)

It winds me up to see them sitting on the side of the road, just waiting for me to buy one :D
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

I see these parked at Guyhirn on the side of the road all the time.
Do you buy them in kit form or ready made?
What engines go in them?

Loads or option from the good old pinto up to twin 1000cc bike engined cars

They held a few speed records for some time

Will use it as a track toy so no doubt the Ring will get a Visit at some point! 8)

I have the roll bar in the garage just not fitted yet! :-D

A bit more info for you

Brought the car in Kit form in 1997  and have done bits and pieces to it over the years but as it was a pre SVA car I have had to make some major changes to it to get it ready for an SVA test.

These include fitting a collapable stearing column and relocating the pedals so they are now floor mounted.

The Engine is a 2Ltr Ford Pinto (with a 205 block) fitted to a 5 speed type 9 gearbox.

It has a live axle from a Cortina if I remember rightly and the front end is modified from a Mk1 Golf GTI.

Most of the build is finished the main things left to do is all the wiring and some of this needs modifing due to moving things about to get the stearing column to fit and finishing off the interior hopfully this won't take too much more work to finish and I can get on with enjoying it!!

Ive always wondered about these Tigers. They look great and being a local company parts and and help with the build would be available *hopefully*.
I have only seen a couple of them on track days, but tbh I wasn't impressed with the quality on the welds/ fabrication on the chassis. But this could be because they were home built cars??? There's another local guy (Ipswich area I think) who has developed a similar car that looked excellent imo. I cant remember the name of his company, some one may know him? He was testing one at the marham track day in sept 06.
