Post by kev@tga »

as above really its something i would love to do i am not saying i am the best driver in the world nor is my car the greatist compaired to some but the all round package is pretty good :thumb: i would just like to know a rough cost i.e addmission charges/entry charges and anyone else from the people who know me or not, my car is having a few changes in the next month or so i.e bigger turbo, bushes through out, the roll cage extended from the back to the front as well a some more weight loss mostly me losing a few kg

Time Attack entry was far more popular this year and with the series continued success, I would expect next years entry to be hugely popular.

Entry was around

Kev - I am sure you and your car are good enough so long as you are not aiming to 'win' it.

We did the following to get involved this year:
http://www.bigpower.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1230

Unfortunately I could not commit the full advance money in Feb so couldnt do the whole series but kept my name in the hat for a reserve should someone drop out of a round. As Knockhill is light years away some people didnt want to travel for that one, so I jumped at the opportunity.

It is a new series still and constantly growing in the quality of the cars, drivers and publicity. Next year will be bigger and stringer I think but there will be additional safety measures required by all those taking part.

Personally i think these will include mandatory roll cages, plumbed in extinguishers, mandatory harnesses and mandatory race suits. At the moment these are advisable but not compulsory. I am sure Rob Barnes would be able to shed some light on this at the end of this year.

Thanks dunk no i certainly have no hopes of winning it i just want to do it for experiance and get to see all the different cars, drivers, tracks and enjoy the whole package. yes i can imagine there will be a few changes to the safety side since the influx of more people this year i am reading through this years rules a regs as we speak :-D
