i made a kit up myself mate, got all the bits from ebay. whole lot cost just shy of

You should really consider fitting an oilstat with your cooler kit. Over cooled oil can do just as much damage to your engine as hot oil!

Yes this will bump the price up, but IMO if you are going to do it you should do it right. Unless you fit a cooler that is too small for the application, which will not be able to over cool, but what would be the point in that :lol:

as said you should get a sandwhich plate with built in thermostat. but would recommend sourcing the bits yourself as you can design/fit where you want the cooler to fit.

mine works great, even on a good thrash i dont see temps of more than 90degs.

I got a oil cooler kicking about, I'm sure I'd be able to do a good price, its from DW. I've used the pipes etc now so just the cooler left! A thermostatic sandwich plate is a must, can
mk1 escort, supercharged.

I have thermo/open sandwich plates, remote filter heads and two sizes of cooler suitable for your car in stock if you want something quickly. All you will need is pipework from Pirtek or Parker etc.
