What tyre pressures are you running Andy?

30psi all round. The track itself was low grip and I had to overdrive it to get a quick lap (ie winding more lock on when it was understeering which increased front slip angle but kept it on the track).

As a result its the only time I've had tyres wailing at me for the majority of the lap. The lads noticed it from the paddock. Do they tend to be very squealy?

They were progressive though as I found out many a time on the 3rd gear right hander, got quite bit of impromtu drift practice!

when is your next one Andy? - see if I can lend you the pyrometer to measure the temps at the end of it.

I'd have thought more pressure would be needed - only let mine down to that level when on prolonged sessions where the heat build up takes the pressures up. Is that 30 PSI hot or Cold?

30 psi cold, didnt measure them hot but they would have been quite different as rear drivers side was lukewarm and front passenger side almost painful to touch after a lap.

Not back at Barkston til August, have a christening on the July date. Will be out for JISC before then plus a few other things.

F**k me, its Ben Brett, racing driver, on Big Power!

Tell me Ben, is it true you won your first ever event at North Weald? And took class victory at the recent RAFMSA event at Barkston Heath?

Can I have your autograph and be your friend? :D

the rumours are all true, even the one about my amusing and totally poinless use of launch control. you can be my friend. even though riding shotgun with you made my face go a funny shape.

I think the fact that the EP3? Civic comes with launch control as standard rocks. Even if it doesnt really work. I thought you pedalled it well when you took me out.

Sorry about your face, but it was pretty funny beforehand anyway

Did you get any sleep at all over the weekend? I'm not sure the combo of DJ/Race Driver is good for the sleep patterns.

very little sleep. but then i find that any more than 4 hours sleep before a sprint leaves me too alert to the potential dangers of the sport! send the results of sunday to me when you get them? i like this big power place.
