Bloody Typical!!

Post by boucherie »

came home from work today and decided to get the car up on the ramps to investigate the dripping of oil which i presumed was coming from the return flange on the turbo.

luckily the old mans there so i get him to help me onto the ramp and about halfway up the handbrake decides not to bite fully so i end up rolling back down a bit and pop off the os of the front bumper (these are only held together with a nut and bolt through some tired looking plastic!!) not a good start to the afternoon. to make matters worse i found that the return pipe had worked itself loose and was being held in place by good luck alone, quite worrying considering ive done a track day, drove home and then did a trip to ipswich and back (bout 55miles) without it coming off totally and screwing the engine/turbo. :?

normally i wouldnt mind all this as id sort it on the weekend, but no, im working 12hour days and then on holiday for 2weeks so now the cars just got to stay there waiting for me to fix it when i get back. :x :x :x

why didnt i just leave the dripping till i got back, the girlfriends not going to be happy when she hears this!!
