The engine doesn't seem too bad, but it is suffering from a burnt valve seat which seems to be getting worse :( At the BigPower dyno day it "only" managed 370bhp on high boost, 50bhp less than when it was mapped. I've bit the bullet now and ordered an APT stage 2a engine with a flowed head. Hey, why worry, its only

Sticking with the standard engine/cams Kev? It will be interesting to see what the TD06 will produce :) I think Gary could have got more from it on mine, but as the boost got higher the gains got considerably less :( Seeing as Ken from the SXOC made 470bhp ish with the same Tomei Poncams, I think the head is holding it back.

yes mate will be sticking with the standard cams and internals until my new engine is built :-D will be interesting to see what it can be pushed to i will certainly be getting a gas flowed head on the new engine, is everything going ok with yours mate apart from the head? are you getting your other one flowed?

Standard engione is holding together, the new engine is having a flowed head so I should see the same as Ken when it is all done :)
