Just had wheels aligned and still a problem??
Just had another new clutch fitted and took the car to SCA to get the wheels aligned. Problem is both sides match up on the printout but the steering wheel has to be turned to the slightly to the side to get the car to drive in a straight line. Have they fucked up or could something else be wrong? Oh and the steering was fine before the clutch was fitted.

Aaarggghhh not SCA mate !!!
When I was at Autotest the guy there told me he had done a red Civic Type R with a supercharger on, though that must be you. He said your arms in the rears were pulling the bushes out ? Weird.
When they do alignment they dont check the tracking afterwards, as the device they put over the wheel has a bit of play in it so it can move it slightly.
Worth taking it back to get it checked mate, it should drive straight with the wheel at dead centre.
Did you go for the same settings or different ?

Not ideal when you have a trackday tomorrow though :x
Let me know how the car feels in the morning, I may have a solution for you if need be. Motorsports International who are based at the circuit is run by a chap called Barry. I can introduce you two and I'm sure you can sort it out although there will be a cost and this will effect your track time. Far from ideal but a solution if the car is way out.

Another way which isnt ideal is,
make sure the wheels are straight (steering wheel should be offset based on your above comments), then take the steering wheel off, put it back on the notch that is dead in the centre.
But best to have it done properly, mine is just a quick solution if it is really bothering you.

Of course,
What Tarka is neglecting to mention is the ability to disarm an airbag without blowing your nose off, hoping that the error is one sprocket exactly - else the wheel will wtill be wrong but in a different direction, and worse case if they have done one arm too much, that you may have different amounts of steering available depending on the way your car is setup.

DONT take the wheel off, far too involved....................
what they have done is adjust the tracking lopsidedly...........simply adjust the track rods an equal amount either side (one in, one out) to re-centre the rack, if done correctly will not affect your tracking..........
