New Naked dirty pics with new wheels... NOW WITH NEW KIT !!!

Post by Matt_S »

Ripped from my post on SXOC...

Thought Id put these up for you all to see the car as it is at the mo... Pics arent too great as I used the camera phone and I think the lense needs a clean looking at the pics :wack:

TE37s, 9.5 x 17 ET13. 225/45 up front and 235/40 rear.
Running 15mm spacers at the front and 10mm at the rear at the mo, but I think I might drop them a few mm, especially at the rear as it rubs over big bumps on D/C's :wack:

Finally got the skirts back on the car after removing all the stickers. For some reason, even tho the stickers on the skirts have been on half the time the rest have, they didnt want to budge! Even with heat guns, panel wipe and T-Cut (which got the rest off OK), more heat, petrol, more T-Cut and then finally a few goes with thinners today... Still not 100% happy but it will do for now til the new stickers go on in their reduced coverage format...

I hope you like :)

Looks uber low, just the way it should 8)

I take it the silver tank tape is just an aesthetic thing? (ie looks drifty/not trying too hard/ i'm a racer type thing)

Phew - for a minute I thought that if I clicked on the thread, I would see pics of Dane Bowers in the nude :o (Matt does have an uncanny resemblence to Dane Bowers :D )

So what is the plan with the new graphics Matt? I have to say that I really liked the old ones, although a certain sponsors (me) logo could have beena bit larger

LOL @ Geoff. Yours is already on actually mate.. .Cant you see it?!?!?! :p

Yeh all change. Geoff, yours will more than likely be the same and in the same size. But dont tell the others ;) Theirs may change! :D (Shit is Gary watching????) :D:D:D

Stu, the gaffer tape... There's a story there...

Last April ( I think) at Rd 1 Eurodrift I caught a cone or something. Split it jus ton the corner. I taped it then. Spend a few times taping it back together once it loked a bit untidy now and again. Then I thought Id make the effort for Eurodrift this year and repair it, along with reattaching the other endpiece opf the lip that had fallen off September 2005 at Tuner GP!!! It looked OK and I was rather pleased with it

Needless to say, I clipped a clipping point again and it lasted the grand total of three days, three hours in competition, the joint split

Its now split AGAIN right down the middle, following a trip into a car park last weekend that involved traversing a lane which had RUTS for the wheels to go in and 3" higher a large mound in the middle...

I want a kit now I think LOL :D

I used to think this car looked OK without graphics,

But now I just dont like it :( sorry Matt - it looks proper with all the stickers and sposors logo's. I also prefer it with white wheels rather than black, as the colours are basically pastel shades rather than bold solids.

Just my opinion though, and no-one really listens to it !!!

:D :D :D

J.
I have issues !!! :ack2:....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!

J youre the first to say that. I didnt like it either to start with, even tho I was bored to death of the old layout. Its grown on me tho and hopefully the new stickers will be on this week or next :)
