Recently refitted the coilovers to the car and it now appears that i get a sort of clicky/ droning noise from the osf of the car. The droning could well be the propshaft bearing on its way out as i lost a balance weight a year or two ago but im stumped as to what the clicking type noise is. Ive raised up the suspension on that corner as i thought it might have got the driveshaft angles too low but any other ideas what it could be? Brake pads are fine and from what i can see the brake lines dont catch the wheel.
Car is going in for a laser alignment and camber setup tomorrow so if theres anything else to check i can ask them then!
As il get them to fit the 2nd hand prop ive got while im there would i be best to just replace the section that the weight came off of replace the whole shaft and then get it rebalanced?
Would be nice to have it all sorted ready for wednesday!
Thanks
Ian

right guys thanks for all the imputs so far, quick update for you all!!
went in to have the tracking and camber sorted out by a local garage today, should have taken about 2.5hours and ended up being 6.5 for the following reasons  :
osr shock was too close to driveshaft boot so shock had to be extended but locking nut took 45mins to loosen due to the amount of dirt which had got into the thread, in the end they had to use the oxy acetalene to heat the locking nut up as it kept moving the shock as a whole!!
front wheels wouldnt track up at all, it seems that the track rod ends i had fitted were slightly too long and this caused the track to be 30deg out across the two sides so god only knows how it got tracked up all the other times! Couple this with the fact that we swapped over the castor kit bushes on the front to bring the wishbones in more and cut 10mm off the track rod we eventually managed to get the tracking spot on :-D
eventually get the car off the ramps and do a quick back and forwards to settle the suspension and the front cambers had to be redone so off came the wheels yet again and more tweaking involved.
thankfully after all of that we were finally happy that the camber was set to around -1.5deg all round, the osf shock was lengthened by 5mm, the rear arb tie bars were straightened up, front wheels properly tracked and square.
The drive home was clear of clicking noise, so maybe the brake line bracket was catching on something and im now thinking that the droning noise is due to the propshaft needing to be rebalanced so i need to trawl the yellow pages in the morning!
The only downside to this was that i was 2 hours late for work in the afternoon, but at least everythings setup suspension wise for snetterton now!
i will double check how close the downpipe is to the front arb as this could also be catching but ive got a thick cork spacer to put inbetween the gap.
