1/4 mile time today in my classic scoob at North Weald

Post by Ian (DaOne) »

got 4 runs

1st 14.62 @110 mph
2nd 14.44 @ 107 mph
3rd timer broke
4th 12.84 @ 107 mph

so over all had a good run, 1st was a normal driving launch, and the last was around 4-4.5 k

what do you think?

 Slightly better than mine!
My old girl managed a best ET of 16.95 and terminal of 86.
At least it did nt go bang i suppose.
(So my 117k engine lives to fight another day, at least i've lost my drag racing cherry :D )
The event went quite well, nice and cheap, and plenty of time to look round all the nice cars.
Next ones on the 15th July.

Unusually quick. What is your spec again and have you got the timing sheets that you can upload? Don't mean to be rude but those terminal speeds suggest a power of around 400bhp which I didn't think you had :? Bloody good results though. A 12 second run is very quick in anyones book (unless you have a ten second car eh :) )

wouldnt mind getting it on a rr to see what bhp/torque it is putting out now.
