It was the one that some people pulled out of so I managed to grab a late entry. Personally it was the one that interested me the most..... great windy, hilly circuit that would be too far to go for just a track day for. the rest are too easy and convenient for us to do.

Good to see some sensible mods, particularly bigger squirters for reliability. The catch can will come in handy, as even your old block won't fill 2.6 litres within a few laps
Your testing at Cadwell will be of great interest. If you get the chance to do some comparisons between this time and October when we were there last, that would be great.

I will look with eager interest at your lap times Duncan....
However having just spent 2 hours with Andy Walsh, i have gleened a few tips for KH and he tailored my training to suit this circuit....
Well i now have an understanding and apparently a natural ability for Left foot braking and we also worked on my heel and toe techniques.
But more importantly, he thought the car drove and handled great (even if it's only running 1.0bar boost).
He then did his fast laptime of the mini circuit he sets up. put a time in of 55secs. his words are "that's a quick time...." i managed a 57secs.. not bad compared to his time...... just think what i could have done with 2.0bar boost!

Take regular exercise, walk to you car!
It will drain straight back to the sump allowing for a small delay to drain down the hose. It will burn off any water in there quite quickly and will effectively mean that rather than the oil coming into the intake (as is the std arrangement for emissions purposes) it will get recycled and keep the engine det free without me having to drain it or worry about whether it is full (as I have to at the moment)

1) V-power for normal running
2) V-power plus CVL Turbo octane Booster (total of 103 octane) for fun stuff :devil:
Now that I have the necessary hardware I will be able to swap to the fun map for track days etc and swap back for times where I dont want to stick an extra

I no the baffle will help with oil pump cavitation (if thats the word im looking for lol) but after reading your thread was bit concerned i may suffer similar problems when finally get the car out on track.
On a very expensive and time consuming quest for 500/500 ;0)
I think a baffled sump will help the situation with oil surge or cavitation but that isnt really what is happening here.
The only problem that my current (un drained) solution causes is when the catch can fills up. It hardly catches a thing on normal road useage, just long high g corners and the money saved by not having to drain and throw away the oil will pay for the mod
